Make your own Japenese inspired bag

Using a beautiful vegetable tanned leather you will cut the patten and make your very own firm bag, inspired by a Japanese tool bag design.

During the 2 day long course you will learn the basics of pattern cutting, saddle stitching, edge finishing, burnishing and how to use and set traditional saddlers copper rivets.

You will have the option to add an additional detachable shoulder strap.

This is a small course with direct support and supervision, so it is suitable for both more experienced makers or complete novices,

This course will run over 2 consecutive days. Each day will run from 9.30 - 3.30pm . The course will take place at my workshop at the beautiful Vallis Farm. Parking is available. Refreshments provided please bring a packed lunch or be prepared to drive to the local shop
